Offerings
This clearing costs almost nothing to keep — a domain, some storage, and the occasional evening. It isn't a business and it isn't trying to become one. But fires go out unattended, and if something here was worth your time, you can leave something by it.
What an offering is
A gift. That's the whole of it. It doesn't buy a feature, reserve an evening, move anything up an order, or entitle you to a reply. Nothing here is for sale, and nothing you give creates something I owe you. I'd rather say that plainly than let it be assumed.
What I do get is a sense of which fires people actually sit at, which is genuinely useful when deciding what to work on next. That's the only thing an offering influences, and only in the loose way that knowing something ever influences anything.
The practical bits
- Payments are handled by Stripe. Card details never touch this site.
- Amounts are in Australian dollars.
- One-off only. Nothing recurring, nothing to cancel later.
- Changed your mind straight away? Email me and I'll refund it, no explanation needed.
The clearing itself
For the site, the fire, and whatever is next.
An offering buys nothing. It won't hurry a game along or put a feature in one. It's fuel, and the fire burns because people feed it.
Games and posts have their own fires. There's a panel on each one if you'd rather give at something specific.
